Current Reading Obsession

I have a unnatural love for the written word, my bookshelf  is overflowing on to the floor of my office with books. So I constantly have my nose in a book and now with my early birthday present in hand, a Kindle, I have my nose in an e-reader. The first book purchased and what I am reading now is Pure by Julianna Baggott. It was recommended to my by my friend and fellow blogger The Lovely Lemon (check her out, and leave some love) to fill the void the Hunger Games left in my for stories about dystopic societies. 

From the sample I was hooked, a society creates a dome for the smart and privileged, while others are forced to survive in the world after a nuclear attack. Those in the Dome are called Pures because of their lack of mutations or fusions to objects. It is an amazing story of fighting against an oppressive society and it is full of conspiracy. I recently found out its going to be a trilogy so I am super excited to be in a situation where I have to eagerly await a novel. I love it, I guess I am a glutton for punishment.
