Curiouser and Curiouser

Lately I have been in an Alice in Wonderland state of mind. I don't know how this came to be but I defiantly love it. Lewis Carrol's tale of a little girl who is lost in another world only to find friendship and her place is wonderful. I have gone so far as too have it as the theme for my birthday this year. This story has so much whimsy and disorganization for it to be a crafters dream!

So I scoured We Heart It to find inspiration and indulge my current mindset so lets go

Don't these cupcakes look delicious?

Paint all the Roses Red

That is what I love about wonderland its nonsense and logic at the same time

I love this tea party within the book itself!

This is a great idea for the party and look how cute that key is!

This is one of the many quotes I love from Alice in Wonderland. It does well to dream and dream impossible because it may come true.

And I leave you with the greatest riddle of the novel.......................

Wow Time Flies When Your In Class

Long time no blog!

Life has been  crazy here with school, work, and being a wife. But now with the school semester over and Christmas around the corner its staying busy with shopping, crafting, and life in general. I have exciting news my lovely friend Sara is knitting me super sweet Harry Potter scarfs that rock the socks off any thing I have seen. She is so talented and I am so happy to have made a friend in her. I cannot wait for our Harry Potter marathon and craft day!

As I said I have been crafting a little here and there and I made these amazing ornaments for my two favorite ladies and the Starbucks, Sara and Cassi! Im so excited about these I may make more! So shameless plug if your interested hit me up and we can make a deal lol! Here is the quad-ta-pus for Cassi, he is super cute with his top hat and mustache. I am a lady who loves her facial hair and he looks dapper with it. Not pictured his snidely whiplash eye brows.

Now Sara posted on Facebook about a Dachshund ornament and I could not wait to try and make one for her tree. Its so cute in its hat and bow tie a wonderful addition to the tree and a home with the cutest Dachshund ever!

I am so excited to make more of these and expand my abilities with felt and on to the sewing world! Always looking for new ideas, and new project on the horizon I want to try needle felting to make super cute animals like this

 Or this lil guy!

I am so excited and for all the juicy details on the Indie Craft Fair go over to the Lovely Lemon's blog! All you have to do is click Sara's name up top!
I'm excited for all that's coming up!

My Favorite Boys on Televison Right Now

So I have a lot of guilty pleasures that I watch on TV.....its a nice way to unwind from a long day at school or work. So I decided to make a list of my favorite boys from those shows to give you a run down of why they are awesome!

Fin and Jake from Adventure Time
Whats not to love about a boy and his dog trying to save people and be heroes?
Oh and sing in auto tune!

Finn (Cory Monteith) from Glee
I absolutly love Glee and Finn. He is a jock who is the main singer of the Glee club. He is an amazing all American guy and wonderful singer. A lovable character who always steals your heart at the end of the episode.

Kurt (Chris Colfer) from Glee
He is the funny out landish gay glee guy on the show. He is wonderful throughout the seasons and he always can stick up for himself and teaches everyone being different is the best.

Eli (Munro Chambers) from Degrassi
Yes I watch Degrassi and for those you who do not know what Degrassi is, its a Canadian teen drama that follows a secondary school and the lives of its students. The motto of the show is Degrassi: it goes there. It really does from teen pregnacy to school shootings it covers it all. Although this new character is awesome he drives a herse to school and he has caught the heart of my favorite female character Claire. Very sensetive/hot headed emo kid need I say more. His storyline was the best and almost ended in his death on the season finale last night.

Reno from the Colony
If you have not seen The Colony on the Discovery Channel you should. Its a show about 9 people who have to rebuild after a pandemic. Its completely a controlled environment and its in Louisiana. This show is great they have to invent ways to gain create a sound shelter, collect food and create energy. Reno is my favorite because he is constantly creating things to keep the colony running. This week he built a windmill and its in the background of this photo.  I would love to have him in a pandemic/apocalyptic situation.

Those are my favorite tv boys/men who are yours?

Potter Puppet Pals

As we all know that I have an unnatural obsession with a special wizard named Harry Potter! So I am always on the inter-webs finding random things that have to do with the books or the movies. So a while ago I found the Potter Puppet Pals. Its different web videos that follow the wizards through different escapades at Hogwarts!

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do
